Why Should I Become A Member Of PAS?
Parkinson Alberta Society has been providing help and support since 1971 to people with Parkinson disease and their families in Alberta.You may wonder what are the benefits of becoming a member of PAS?
- It is important at the local and national levels that you are counted - we need the strong voice numbers, when we advocate on important issues that will make life better for people with Parkinson disease.
- You are supporting our Programs and Services
- Access to resource library materials from Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge, Red Deer and Medicine Hat offices.
- Our "Parkinson Pulse" quarterly newsletter emailed to you: Our news letter will keep our members informed of Parkinson disease research, current programs and services, management strategies for people with PD and their caregivers, and upcoming fundraising events.
- Voting member of PAS at Annual General Meeting
