About Parkinson Society of Southern Alberta
PSSA is dedicated to helping people and families of Southern Alberta who live with Parkinson’s and
related disorders.
Our core services include supportive counselling, support groups for people with Parkinson's and their caregivers,
learning resources, referrals, peer program, in-service community awareness programs and speech therapy.
Our Mission
The PSSA is the voice of Southern Albertans and their families living with Parkinson’s. Our purpose is to ease
the burden and find a cure through research, education, advocacy and support services.

Parkinson Society of Southern Alberta with thirteen staff members spread across Calgary, Red Deer, Medicine Hat,
and Lethbridge is here to help people living with Parkinson's and the people who care about them through
Support Services and education.
